i dont think its broken broken. just cracked somewhere. maybe a bone bruise. i have never properly broken a bone, but i have heard that when it happens you know because of how painful it is. i have a high pain tolerance, but i figure a broken bone feels somewhere between how my foot feels and the bone pain when i had my wisdom teeth out.

 

ouch...are you ok?.i have screws in both feet...

you would see them protruding out the top and out the bottom of both feet if you had xray eyes.....

when I accidentally kick something and it makes contact with a screw it sends a shockwave through my entire body and I go down to my knees

well it hurts more now. i can still move and flex, standing on it is unpleasant. the middle knuckle is swollen. its purple from the base of the toes halfway up my foot. its going to suck for several days at least.

I stubbed (broke) my baby toe when I was 12 and that was painful enough to slow me way down.

About 10 years ago I fractured a bone in my foot (bad bruise and swelling) and they ended up putting it in ace bandage and I had to wear one of those lovely blue shoes for a few weeks. It hurt for quite a while.

RICE rest, ice, compression and elevation. ( as someone already said)

Sorry about your foot That is one of the worst places to break, so many bones.

It may snow here on Friday, but then it will go back to 70 degrees, typical Colorado weather.

 

thanks for reminding me, i have to cover the plants that arent done growing yet. i have 1 squash trying to fruit, 1 tomato, and 2 small watermelons. a gouple of beans, i think some of them are lima beans.

next year we will have a proper garden.
