I totally agree with you!! The government is corrupt and selfish. How in the world did we get in this mess?! Idk. This is what we need to rise up and charge against! Stuff like this is what got the original hippies motivated, why not start a whole new revolution with the younger generation out there? We all know we're out there, this site is living proof of that. We just need organization, not alot, just a little. No leaders, just fighters.

But dude, using violonce to confront violence? That never solved anything in the past. Why would it work for the present?! If we go burning down the capitol, we would just become as bad as those we are fighting against. Then WE would be the ones that were corrupt! I don't think that is a good thing to hold on our conscious, do you?

A real hippy confronts hate and anger with peace and love. Why don't we do the same? You speak of the government favoring the rich and powerful. If the under class citizens of this country can break through hateful barriers that hold them as enemies, and band together through sex, drugs, and rock-n-roll, we can really make a difference in this country, and in the world.

A hippy does not recruit members, a hippy sets examples through actions. It is up to the individual to accept and/or embrace our culture. The pursuit of happiness is one of the main beliefs our country is based on. Such is a hippy's greatest weapon: love. Through love, one finds peace, and through peace, happiness. If others see our example, so they too will perhaps embrace our ways.

It is obvious we live in a problematic country. But instead of complaining about it, why not look for answers? Contacting your congressmen is an excelent start! Will they seriously listen to what you have to say? Most likely not. But if enough of us do it, we will make, at least, a small mark on our society. But the key is in number, and in heart. If all the people who think like us were to band together, we could easily get the nasty government to listen to us. And, I suppose, if they don't listen, we could just overthrow them, and put forth a new government. One of true equality, and real justice.

Anyone who thinks the government is the one to blame for the situation this country is in now, is just helping dodge the blame for what individual citizens have done or not done to this country. Sure it is easy to say the government is responsible for the financial crisis but, the government did not force us to buy homes we could not afford, the government did not force us to acquire credit cards with no intention to pay them back. Some of us as individuals did this. Of course these are not the sole reasons for the recession but they are big ones.

When it comes to how the government is run we all must be active in voicing our concerns to our elected representatives to make sure they are doing the job they promised to do. We can not just sit back and expect these people to keep our best interest in mind. We must remind them daily and make our voices heard when our wishes are denied.

We must remember we as citizens are the majority, we are the government.

 

Is it so much for a guy to ask to be left alone by the FBI, CIA, DEA, FDA, NSA, IRS and all those other three letter acronyms? This is my acronym to the U.S. government: STFU!

The Government? The government did nothing to neither legislate laws against unethical banks or creditors transactions or practices nor stop to prevent it. In fact they just let these corporations steam roll this country into malfunction, people losing their homes, trillions upon trillions in debt, homeless by the millions, no jobs, no social security, no fucking future for our generation or beyond. The government fucked us in the ass by letting this happen. The government is over thrown by foreigners and corrupted lobbyist. The enemy the government, is against us.

A large community of real U.S citizens a size that cannot be denied does not want bailouts, yet this globalized puppet government continues to do things their way. The voice of the people have been silenced, it's been this way for decades fortunately because of the undeniable problem we are facing in America today is making the working class that are the motor of this union and now out of work awaken from their slumber and realize their reality.

The poor will do nothing, but if you deny the motor of this country then problems will arise. Problems the government started in the first place.

There will be more parties to choose from, why now do we only have two, two that fuck each other as night and day, it's just a game of cat and mouse and it will not continue anymore.

The power that has continued to run havoc for so long is now 'shaken" by us. Continue in the efforts to support Bank Bosses Are Criminals Group. Protest or do unethical procedures, I don’t accept it but I don’t condone it either. These people should be arrested by their actions not ours.

Lets face it, what the world doesn't know is that a big majority of U.S citizens for decades did not want to be the police of the world and still don’t, they do not want to continue to continuously reach out to every fucking conflict that the world has to give, we are not brothers keepers nor do we want to be. Unfortunately the government, our politicians think otherwise they believe in some sort of U.S world utopia no matter how twisted and disfigured it has become through the decades. Face it the U.S is the fault why the world is in an economical meltdown. But please understand that it is not the people of the union that did this, but rich independent world leaders from many other ethnics and world cultures that have puppet my country. In a way as if a shadow government.


The politicians in the U.S only obey interest groups either that be inside sources or foreign, as long as the price for their loyalty is in six figures or more. That is who they listen to, that is why the world as we know it is this way today, because of greed and idiotlogy funding.

 

I don't think the US over stretching themselves, globally, especially militaristically, contributed to the economic meltdown we now see.

If you want to set an example as you say, than write to your congressmen and tell him you want your state to defect from the Union. In fact tell all your friends and parents how it would be a great idea to separate their state from the Union and create their own country so their taxes won't go to someone else's pocket book, show they don't need the stinking federal government, tell them to write to their congressmen as while.

I've lived in Los Angeles a few years, I have seen how rich euro trash comes into my country buys up homes which they in turn jack up property rent 3 folds. One bedroom apartment which was once $500- a month is now $1500+ after they get their greedy hands on it. Foreigners have bought so much of this country and jacked up the price on almost everything that it's so unbearable to live here. Yet analyst tell us it's inflation. Full of shit, full of shit I say we all know the real reason. Greed simple as that.

Not only is the rich screwing the American public, but the unstoppable illegal immigration problem this country has had to endure for years. These criminals come over here, ring up debt beyond belief from credit cards, mortgage homes, etc. What do they do when the credit man then comes to collect? Jump, skip right back to fucking Mexico, South America or where ever they fucking came from.

I’ll agree with you, a good portion of Americans deserve to be whipped or even executed by ignoring the fact’s that were placed in front of them all these years. I, am not one of them I’ve been saying for a long time that the world was coming to this, and I am rightfully so.
