We used to get coverage of debate in the House of Commons on CSPAN when Tony Blair was prime minister. It looks a little weird, at least by our standards. People cheer and jeer and talk out of turn. Also one time while I was in HS they were thinking of removing Margaret Thatcher from her position. She had to give an impassioned speech to the house. Again everyone seemed to be jeering and complaining. Then she said "more power to the people!" and everyone cheered. And she kept her position. Is that how you vote? When everyone cheers? I'm not saying there's anything wrong with that. I think they have that in other W. European countries. It's called the parliamentary system, isn't it? But why do they do that weird stuff?
Maybe that's what Boebert and Greene have been trying to start here--the hollering and such. It's fun to watch the parliamentary system.
