Based on the info found in the links I provided earlier, I think the numbers here are a bit inflated. But then again, the larger the sampling (which we're not seeing here), the more representative the polls will be.

That said, the poll should narrow it down to smaller increments. When we're talking wiener size, the difference between 6 and 7" is pretty big. And there's a lot more guys sporting 6.1" than 7".

You should have had two questions on the poll: length and girth gives you a better snapshot on the real size of a guy’s penis

 

I have a small penis, it is barely an inch when soft and is but 2.5 inches when erect.

 

I'm 5ft-10, average build, when flaccid I'm about 3", by measuring from pubic bone to the tip when fully erect I'm 7-1/2", girth I'm 5-60", I have no reason to be anything other than honest they are my real measurements. The girls- woman I've been with tell me my penis is the biggest or one of the biggest they have had, and have had no complaints so far.

 

Flaccid, I'm about 4", erect, I'm 6 1/4'' long and 6" in girth.

I was gonna post my size in here, but then I realized that a certain mischievious friend of mine across the pond would see it. The medically accepted method of measuring has been mentioned in a couple of comments above but bears repeating: place a ruler over the top and press it back to the bone. Read from the pubic bone to the tip of the head.

Fully erect varies with the extent of arousal (yes, it changes). The biggest I’ve ever measured myself was 6.5” in length and 5.5” in girth. My “average” erection is just over 6” in length and 5.25” in girth. Yes, I’ve measured frequently trying to keep up with all these guys claiming to have over 7 inches.

My wife is the 5th woman I’ve had sex with, and I was married at 21. There were never any complaints about me. My wife had the same sexual experience level as me (not much to compare) and she has never complained.

If the average is between 5.25” and 5.5”, and this forum is flooded with people claiming over 7” or 8”, there must be a hell of a lot of guys out there with 2” and 3” fully erect cocks.

 

That's a good point. In reading everything I have though, and understanding the male ego and what it will do to preserve or better itself, I'm betting a hell of a lot of guys are exaggerating on this forum. I forget the numbers (probably can be found within one of the links I've posted) but, the overwhelming majority of guys fall within a certain size range which is fairly narrow (~1/2" or so). And that's far from what one would guess when cruising around on this forum.

Good on you for being open about it! The points I try to make in all these penis size threads is that the scientific evidence does not support all these claims around here of 7" and 8" dongs, much less the ridiculousness of 9", 10" and longer. And a lot of people are just gullible enough to believe it, thanks in large part to porn and how its producers have used scale and perception to their advantage.

 

In my experience most guys I've known have erect cocks of between 5 and 6 inches, the biggest was 7.5 inches. I've only seen photos on the internet of guys with cocks smaller than mine.

 

I think people treat the difference between average and above average like miles instead of incremental parts of an inch or two. I'm barely over 6 inches so the difference between me and "the average" is less than the width of a decent cigar (in other words not much) and that difference can be easily overcome by any guy willing to understand how to really satisfy a woman.
