    Attention my friends!

I have assembled the ultimate hippie quiz, based on my vast knowledge and personal life experiences as a long haired hippie freak...(for at least a year or two) back there in the days of innocence and drug induced stupor.

Then I got a real job.

But anyway, the only rule is no Google...or Dogpile, Yahoo, Ask, DuckDuckGo...etc.
    You're on your own.

See how many you can answer correctly.
Some are fairly easy and some are fairly obscure....you may have had to be there.

I'm thinking no one will get them all as some are from a few lost roads I traveled in the dead of night.

Thirty questions. Thirty mind bending trips down memory lane in search of the answers.
Or for you younger folks, thirty tests of your knowledge of hippie lore and facts.

    Good luck

    1) Woodstock, NY. of course...
    3) it was a feature length cartoon starring Fritz the Cat and it was very adult oriented for the time, pimps, hookers, drugs,etc.. I'm gonna make a guess and say it was created by R.Crumb
I think I have a digital copy on a hard drive somewhere around here.

    10) in my mind I thought" "Duh?, who doesn't know who peter max is, but I guess a lot of folks.

    Wow! Pretty good Newo.

    1. Bethel, New York...right.
    4. This is a tough one...you really had to be there to know this one...we'll see if anyone gets it, I can reference it in a book, but I remember it first hand.
    7. "Paris" 400 is another tough one. You probably had to be there, also.
    11. It's a ...shit (senior moment)..Canned Heat song, Amphetamine Annie, that's where the phrase "speed kills" comes from I believe.

    http://youtu.be/ZZomRxiLqj8
    16. The Doors of Perception by Adlous Huxley is right.
    19. Before Cheech and Chong there was the Firesign Theater.

    http://youtu.be/G1mAVyDhRUo
    22. You almost got 22.
    23. Is right.

    Very good, very good.

Now we're down to the hardcore, no cheating please!

We need answers to nine questions:

    4. What would protect you from nuclear radiation?
    7. What does “Paris” 400 refer to?
    18. What did the monk buy?
    21. Who was “The most dangerous man in America”?
    22. Who were the Yippies?
    25. Who threw things as a form of protest? (Hint, he used to post on HF)
    27. Who was Smokestack El Ropo?
    28. What’s a zilch?
    30. Who was Divine Right?

All the rest have been covered.

Remember don't ask Siri..... or whatever that robochick's name is...she wasn't around then.

    21. Kay rect!

I believe it was Richard Nixon who called him that. Remember he was imprisoned for a total of 95 years, was put in solitary and subjected to "psychological evaluations".
They never heard of free speech in those days.

    4. Wrong. You people are being to logical. This was a time of magic, remember people were trying to "levitate" the Pentagon.

I'll post some more clues later on.
