It does on my PC . Just tried it . Okay back to the old School way "Explosions hit state security building in Transnistria" A Security building was hit with a hand help missile launcher . No further details as yet but according to Sky News here in the UK , the Russians are Monitoring . For those of you who have never heard of Transnistria and I dont blame you as normally its very insignificant . It is a very small part of Russia in Moldova . It has Russian troops based there and its similar in terms of the Russian occupied Donbas . Ideally the Russians want to form a land corridor connecting that small republic by taking Odessa . I think that is something to worry about next month but will be worth keeping tabs on it in the mean time. Moldova is not part of NATO and in a similar way to Ukraine ,it will not get the full protection of Article 5 . However it could be a worrying escalation should things erupt there .
I dont think he is bluffing .However they are not the IBM type nuclear missiles that the Western media is trying to hype up . They are tactical nuclear weapons . Still nasty but they dont wipe out cities but rather an area of a battlefield . These are still very much part of the Russian Doctrine a left over from the old Cold War Soviet days . The West also had them in those days but decommissioned them some time ago .The launching vehicle is no different than some of the cruise missiles launchers . NATO troops are issued with anti Nuclear Suits which affords them protection . Ukraine troops were supplied with a small number of such suits at the beginning of the conflict but probably havnt been distributed aa it wasnt deemed a risk at the time .
Russian widows posing with 10 000 Rubles received as compensation for the death of their husbands during the Russian - Ukrainian War.
10,000 rubles = 124,65 Euros using yesterdays most current exchange rate. Wow, life really is cheap there.
More arms shipment news coming out . The Netherlands despite cutting back their own military force of which they will be potentially forced to reverse in the NATO meeting in June ,are sending Ukraine a number of PZ2000 self propelled guns . German instructors will be teaching them how to use them as they are a very sofisticated piece of kit . These are more useful than the towed Howitzers as supplied by the USA as they are a better offensive weapon being able to keep up with the rest of the mobile troops and tanks . I think they are only releasing a small number . The other bit of big news I have learned tonight following an interview on a UK news channel is that the German Army are releasing a number of Gepards which are a very effective antiaircraft tank and will give the Ukrainian armour close anti aircraft support . One of my favourite vehicles of this type .
More on this for Sky News ; "For the second day in a row, explosions also rocked the separatist region of Trans-Dniester in neighbouring Moldova, knocking out two powerful radio antennas close to the Ukrainian border. No-one claimed responsibility for the attacks, but Ukraine all but blamed Russia. It came amid growing international fears the war was beginning to spill further over borders." I thought more would have been made of this in the Western Media My view is that it represents a serious escalation and involves another country and it was always thought Moldova would be Putins next target . My theory is that it could be a false flag event to justify Russia going into Moldova . We are edging ever closer to WW3
Russia fired missiles into Kiev while members of the UN were visiting... At this point Putin thinks he can say a big "fuck you" to the world...
That is a problem with Western Media . Its too open and providing Russia with information for targets . Some censorship which is normal during wartime is needed . Thats why NATO is covertly in most cases supplying Ukraine with arms and spare parts for aircraft. About 20 Aircraft have been returned to service . Ironically the number of spare Mig 29s Poland had . Remember that old chestnut ? Hmmmm
