I have transferred Part 1 to the History Section . This is Part 2 Commencing 9th April 2022 and will concentrate on Russia's new campaign the Battle for Donbas which is in the East
This was supplied by a member who's identity I will keep secret as he is Russian and is against the war and refuses to be brainwashed by Putin TV . Its in Russian yeah really and shows the initial stages of the attack on Donbas with artillery shelling of which has been confirmed by CNN tonight I also shows a picture of the Czech tanks loaded on the rail cars .These will be heading for Ukraine as I reported in the Part 1 Thread
Boris Johnson whilst in Kyiv has announced 120 armoured vehicles of which I think will be the Jackal and Mastiff types as discussed before in "Part 1" The Ukraine Crisis Part 1 The initial Battles and Anti Ship Missiles bound for Odesa . These I am expecting will be Harpoon .It does feel as though things have gone up a notch ,especially from the European response . The USA will be far more secretive in their arms assistance but I do know they have plenty of ex Soviet equipment captured from the past conflicts in the Middle East .The USA will have also ties with ojther far away countries that in the past have used Soviet equipment . I am thinking of the likes of Egypt and captured equipment from Israel .the former was a big user of Soviet equipment until the 90s ,the latter captured a lot of equipment in its past skirmishes with the likes of Syria . For me it does feel we are at war now . The British Harpoon Anti Ship Missile as pictured below gong to the Ukraine ,I suspect will be the ground launched versions as the Ukrainian Navy is none existent and was decimated after the 2014 conflict when many of the Navy Officers defected and pledged their allegiance to Russia .
Breaking News today 10th April 2022 A satellite Image showing an 8 mile convoy of military vehicles and supplies on the way to the Donbas . When this erupts it will be far nastier and brutal than what we have witnessed so far . The Russians have installed a new overall military commander for this campaign who has had experience in Syria . He will not make the same mistakes as his predecessor and increases the likelihood of chemical weapon useage .
From my knowledge of military, purely from a military point of view , this guy is a seasoned veteran and was victorious in Russia's Air War in Syria . He has been linked with atrocities and so he is nasty as well .I wouldnt rule out Chemical weapon attacks as they were used in Syria. He will not make the same mistakes has his predesesor has. His supply lines are much shorter and Ukraine's much longer .His forces will be all concentrated in one area and not split as they where before ,which is a tactical blunder a novice would make .From Russia's point of view things will be much better . The pressure is on Putin to deliver before May 9th which is Russia's May Day military parade when they commemorate the end of The Great Patriotic War (WW2) . This is why this guy has been installed . Gen Aleksandr Dvornikov
This was a surprise when this turned up on the Ukraine vehicle lost list .It has been captured very recently by the Russians Its a British Saxon APC . Its normally used by the British TA and not often by regulars . It could be one of 75 sold to the Ukraine prior to this conflict. Here is one in UK service
This map below shows where things are as at yesterday. The area that needs watching is that near Izium as I think the Russians will try to encircle the Ukrainian troops there
The info from this video is very good ,However some of the clips are from the 2014 war as I have seen some of those before .
A video showing some of the military vehicles likely to be supplied . My biggest doubt is the UK AS90 Self Propelled Howitzer . The Ukrainians dont have the Ammo, spares or knowhow in is use .
