Willingness to emote. That's a grey area. Another way to define it?

 

A willingness to show your emotions, having healthy emotional circuitry(example you wont laugh at a kid geting beat up, you get mad when someone talks shit, you cry when appropriate so on so forth)

 

I know, but it's a dangerous strategy. Men are expected not to emote on a number of ocasions.

 

That's bullshit. Women wanting a guy who can be a good provider and protector is evolutionary.
I could seriously care less what anyone thinks of whom I am with.
Let me guess...you are a guy who is most likely un or underemployed and it makes you insecure...thus you blame women and their expectations, rather than your lack of achievments and responsibility.

 

Well the way I use it is through story telling. men tell stories through fact, who what when where how why. Women do it through emotion, the same way I do it. For example:

Man Story:
Out of nowhere my brother jumped out the car, ghost riding and shit. I said fuck it and dig the same shit. Hanging out of the window yelling aye! Going dumb then he fell then his leg got ran over. I jumped out to see if he was alright. He was cool. Shit!

Women Story:
My brother jumped out of the car so I felt driven to do the same. You know peer pressure on your shoulders. i also didn't want to feel like a punk. The wind in my face while I was hanging out of the window was amazing, an incredible rush. I then saw my brother fall. I was fucking scared, myy heart was thumping! I thought he got hurt. I hopped out to see if he was ok, and luckily he was.

Also, it's just an overall better way to tell a story. Smart men do it all the time.

 

Ok. Story-telling is interesting. I guess then we're talking about women's expectations in certain situations...like men can emote in certain situations, particularly in the abstract (like through stories, or an ideal, a project, etc.) or in private.
