Super cute! You have to keep her! Cats are fantastic pets - they are clean, entertaining, and super independant. I am a major cat person.

This is Chairman Miaow - my cat. :D

    Lynn,
We don't believe you. Just because you have the body of a dead cat draped over your coffee table doesn't mean you like them.

Nice find lodog... or is it nice find kitty, you got a good person now. ;)

Trying to rescue the others is a good idea... street cats have a hard life.

And Lodog reminds me of a story.

One time, back in the dark ages, my wife and I were backpacking in the mountains of Virginia when we came upon these four little kittens abandoned by the side of a road. Eyes were barely open.

So we scooped them up and continued on. One in each hand. Fed them on bread soaked in water and dried milk that we happened to have with us. Of course they got diarrhea since that was their only diet. We would carry them over rocks and mountains, in rain and sun, sometimes putting them in an upper pack pocket, which had to be cleaned often.

We hiked with them for about three weeks. Gave one away to a Shenandoah park maintenance guy, and two others to other hikers as we went along. The last one was assigned to us.

We were known on the trail as "the cat people".

The moral of the story is, they used us for a ride in the woods and brainwashed us to serve their kind forever.

I think I have Cat Lady written on me some place that only cats and little children can see. I was 100 miles away from home on Saturday, walking in a park, when I told a tiny little girl that I liked the kitty on her shirt. She told me there was a kitty back on the path and to go get it. I'm like "A kitty?" and she again told me to go get it. SMH.

Pardon me for thinking there might be housing on the other side of the fence where he spotted the cats. I live in an urban area, it's instinct for me to picture my surroundings that way.

LoDog, thank you for the clarification that you live in rural Appalachia. With that clarity I say keep your kitten friend, as it seems it was truly meant to be.

I feel bad for those other cats though :(

    spay and neuter :2thumbsup:
