Zoomie I agree with your post in regards to Changin's attitude about HHB..but take into mind she is young..only 20 and of course she does know everything..lol. But she'll get over that soon enough and start to listen to us old folks...my oldest girl is 25 and she just this last year has apologised for that phase of her life....I feel very lucky..many parents don't get that. Oh and I get a grandbaby too!! And, HHB and Cryptoman..I admire your courage in doing what you are doing..I totally agree with your position Crypto..the times are gonna change.

Very nice. You must be very good at making friends. Your parents must be so proud. Grow up, brother.

I think the reason no one is answering you is that so many are putting you on ignore. Good bye.

If you be Vegan....congrats. Most of us lame ass buyers get our meat in neat packages but to be honest I also know they ended up at a slaughter house and have done my share of slaughter of chickens and plucking and washing the smell off and not eating it for a little until I could leave the smell.....

    but I do eat meat.....so.

Guess life is just like that.

Grow up and stop jabbing as you will sooner or later feel the jab that is no longer polite.

The charm was in not slaughering you for these comments. Do you understand that yet?

    See it does exist. ;)

Frig no wonder.......she is in that hole.

Going to start calling her a gopher. ;)

I am nursing my own blisters as worked for my mom this weekend on her property and it is starting to look good for spring. Two acres for a 75 year old is too much....but it will be ok again in a few weekends :)

    Dilli.....join a union......lol

Cryptoman........thank you for your posts as I am reading and it is a read I enjoy.

oh i am long past the blister stages in life,,, but atleast my callouses are rather feminine ones ;)... meaning they aint all thick n gross,,, if a callous can be feminine,,,, oh and fer da record, my high school mascot was a friggin gopher ..:O

i dunno if there is a clay digger union,,, closest thing i could figger would be the masons n wellllll i don't think i would fit in there

See you be now part of the go for this and go for that. a go for. [IMG]

Masons.....nope do not go there.....they scare me more than varmints.

A callous in life is normal but holy not sure about the clay diggers.....I do that all the time as we are in clay and it drives me batty....keep breaking ground and it hardens as fast as I break it.

I am lucky as my mom is on sandy loom and it is a dream...so tend to garden there as it is a lot less hassle and we all enjoy the time.....plus she has more land than my city plot.

My sister is also on loom and she has 52 acres but about half is bush and she wants to keep that....so she works the other with a barter with a neighbour so she feeds her horses and pig and deer and that is ok as he keeps the rest of the crop. [IMG]

Stay out of the holes gopher [IMG]

I hear you......but you know a drum sounds best to the one who beats it. :)

I be a little afraid as while I can play piano can not hollow out a piece of wood but love the sound of the drum. If we be talking pelts my niece will shoot me on site as she has her little cupcake all safe and sound....do not ask about that name as none of us adults can figure out why.....lol

Cupcake came into my mom's yard last year and we have no clue how as she was at best only a few days old.....we heard her momma bleating for days and took shifts staying up and watching for her while feeding her baby....but she never showed....

Now she lives in my sisters home with a compound that simply beats all........food to boot and pets galore. :) She could not be let loose as she would be dead instead she will be pampered for life and that is ok as she likes it......so far. :)

Here is cupcake at my Mom's......she has since lost her spots as she is a big girl now. :)

    Heya HippyhillBilly,

You've brought up a couple of points several times and I've never answered - so let me address them and clarify.

I am aware that I have sent out specific directions as well as map co-ordinates to both you and Dilli - but she suggested to some one to check me out and that i was in the Geneva area, some one else says I am in the Ithaca area ... While I do not give out specific dirsections and location publicly - YET (getting a lot closer -legal work is in action for legal entity and changing the hollow from individual ownereship to the Co-Op) - so I do put out a general location that gets a person to within 10 miles so that they can approx where we are - 50 M. directly south of Rochester NY.

My policy toward individuals who contact me expressing interest....
First off - I am much more interested in others making the best choices for themselves for their best growth than getting ahead personally - my trip this lifetime has been about spiritual Growth of individuals leading to more complete Wholeness within.
Secondly - I am doing communitty - as such - I do not pay people - and every corp starting group of every community that I know of puts in well over 40 hrs - closer to !00 hrs/wk making community happen. Food shelter heat - the necessities are provided - other than that it's a free will giving by individuals to the extent they feel comfortable with. This I warn everyone of, as I did with Dili.
While I encourage visiting - the policy to incoming members is that they visit once to see if the land, concepts, and people speak to them - a longer stay to work with us for a couple of weeks to see if they are still interested, and then a move in and a madatory 6 month active, continuous participation before the community votes on their membership. The first members usually determine the success of the attempt - any 1 individual can sour the whole group, so it only takes a 2/3 majority to vote someone out (including myself) - however the primary rule is that it takes unaminous agreement to make or break a rule. All rules are voted on once a year so any disagreeable rule can be eliminated.

And of course - each new member changes the community as a whole and the people in the community make up the rules - not the owner, as it is now.
Soon - , not as soon as I wanted it's no longer my responsibility or duty but goes to all involved to decide all the nitty gritty details.

Hope this clarifies it for you. Dilli may have a real good idea of what I'm trying to say if this is not clear to you.

Best of fortune to you all and Blessings on your Way as you Grow On.

WELL GOLLY GEE JIMMINEY,, DUH HUH,, ILL HAVE TO ASK HER TO READ THAT THERE STORY TO ME AN XPLAIN IT...

well just to "clarify" myself,, the quote below is what was said old wolf,,
    in this thread,,

    http://www.hipforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=84129&page=1&pp=10

And as you just stated ya dont want your "exact" location to be known,, so the next town of any size over seemed a good general area type thing..

as you see,Never was anything said about you bein in or near ithica, nor did we say you were "in" geneva..

someone needs to brush up on there reading comprehension skills i would assume..;)

As far as your explanation on the "work ethic" you expect,, dilli was doin 90 hours a week on a dairy farm when she contacted you,, and she still has yalls emails so we didnt need your "clarification" on that either..

But if it made ya feel better,, whatever floats yer boat..

For the record our normal work week off the farm is between 65 and 70 hours,, who works 40 anyway?:p

    Luv~N~Lite
    hilly dilli an clan..
