well this isnt the 60s anymore. its easier to organize shit, over the internet and phones and what not, but people as a majority are too much pussyfied to do anything. haha pussyfied....

i think that humans are naturally unpeaceful. i agree with moon flower in saying that the world has never been a peaceful place before and is very unlikely to ever become one.

however nathan, i admire your outlook, and you should give some examples about your ideal world. what would humans need to do to accomplish this revolution? start from the start, if you want people to listen to you, tell them what they need to do.

yeah, i get what you're saying...
it's a good thought, and definitely something to strive for, but i think a peaceful world is virtually impossible. oh i think what the world needs is wisdom, and peace follows in suit.

oh yea? well try climbing everest with no oxygen tanks, while maintaing a body temperature of 98 degrees fahrenheit, then when you reach the top jump off and make a running land, with no parichutes. now that my friend, is impossible

 

first off, is that a really important question right now??? i think a truely peaceful world wouldnt even have a government really, why would we need order or rules? were smart enuff to rule and teach ourselves at that point.

but peaceful... fighting wise, i guess one government would be a good move.....

 

okay okay, i forfeit. haha. i understand your point of view, do you understand mine? you're thinking in dreams, and i'm thinking in reality. there's nothing wrong with that, you have a good vision, but it will be a long time before we come to that, if ever. and, if ever, then it will be beeeeea-utiful.
and i don't think people will be there. maybe just ants. bloody ants, they certainly seem to be living an ideal existence in their little hills. marching, marching, marching... sounds great huh?

For my ideas, they are as follow:

1. Rid all buisnessess and what not of discrimination or prejudice based on race, sex, nationality or anything else of that matter.

2. Though it will take time for people to see, we must unite the world, as one world, not just 7 continents.

3. Stop all wars. When they happen (and they will because of greed and religion) we must start communication with heads of state so they understand it all. Most of the time, they can't hear us because they are so protected.

4. Make neighborhoods and communities focused more on the family. Bring them together as one large family, will little sects (blood families).

I know, a lot of this sounds like it wont ever happen, but with hard work and dedication, it will and can.

And just how do you propose we do this? Get one black person, one white, one hispanic, and one Asian and have them all sing "Kum By Ya"? You can't force people to get along. Affirmative action is a horrible idea and has even yet to work.

And this is where you run into the problem of conflicting values. To some people, family values means children are raised by a mother and a father and homosexuals are not involved. To others, divorce is morally wrong and should not be tolerated. And still others think that all women should stay at home barefoot and pregnant. So, who decides what's what? You can't make people change their values, so give it up.
