I walked the Heaphy west to East and now I'm in Collingwood. I like the feel of this place, I was here briefly once before. The day before the walk I took an acid tab. Originally I declined but was told it was not strong, in fact ten years old! So I thought well how bad can it be. And it wasn't bad. I just hung out and watched the trees and listened to wreckheads talk about nothing much. But afterwards I got this message, like sometimes I feel like it's almost like getting a text message in my head, a thought where it feels like I can see the words in my mind. "don't do it again". I've had the same message about cocaine. And disobeyed. But it feels like a pretty clear directive from somewhere. So I won't, I don't think.
Mahogany Mojo guitar is in the house.... Neck looks straight but I haven't seen it with strings yet... Should be fine though, it's good wood and somewhat beefy. Plenty of fret material and they don't need much work as they are now. Body weighs less than I thought it would, that's a good thing though. Warmer tone, less back pain. The finish looks like crap... Love it. It's Mojo man, been through hell and back, it's here to tell the story. I have a set of pickups for it but need to get the rest of the parts ordered.
I woke up on the wrong side of bed today, well with a tummy cramp and that just set me in a mood so I'm just ignoring everybody at work and trying to stay in my own little world. I ain't got time for any crap and I can feel myself on edge so I don't want nobody coming up to me with insignificant problems. So far I'm 4hrs into work and no problems.
Oh wow. Was making a post on a Twiztid post on Facebook about good soundtracks to movies and I chimed in with Airheads as usual, ended up having a PM with Jamie Madrox!
1900 Levi Jean, til today there was only 5 in the world.. Still waiting on rest of story.. Worth more than a house. Imagine that..
^^^^ @Orison that sounds pretty nasty. Yesterday my friend brought me by another special doob. He didn't know what it was, but I swear it was something special. It tastes in a way I can't describe but GOOD.
I have actually gotten the raw sewage gone from down stairs...but I have to go back down there and do a whole disinfecting of that area. I'm going to have to do with throw away clothes and a face mask and long rubber gloves. gag a maggot Too bad there is NO DRAIN down there. AFTER I wipe and wipe and wipe...I KNOW I'm going to have toss soapy with a bit of bleach water over all that area. Lord God the part of me that knows what all I'm going to need to take out of the basement dreads this just as much as the part of me physically doing it. I know this - I'll be going down there AT LEAST once a week, and probably more, to flush that dang commode...to make sure nothing is stopping anything up. Jebus. I can't take this....the wooden floor that the "bathroom" (commode) sits on must be cleaned ASAP I realize. By cleaned I am talking about using rolls and rolls and rolls of paper towels as I spray it with cleaner with bleach...after I toss clean water over the area. I really don't want it to rot. I need to be about 30 yrs younger.
Staring down the barrel of my first ever Test Match cricket victory on a console. I'm notoriously a shit batsman, I admit I can't bat but I realise in a test match it goes for 5 days so it's all about longevity and pace. So my scores have been well, I just needed to defend 286 runs and at the moment I have NZ on the ropes at 7/119. I should be able to dispatch the last 3 lower orders and seal my first ever win. exciting.
woohoo i won Now for something different. I've had no testing at Dover but I've just joined a truck series race hehe.
fuck, not a bad run. Zero laps, I had to feel the car out first 10 laps, came from 10th to finish 2nd, right behind leader 0.261s away. Close one. I'm a bit amped up after that lol, my hands got shaky with 8 laps to go as I knew I was closing, I just probably took the wrong line a few laps, cost me a win. But as expected with no practice lol, i had to make my own line up a lot of the time.
