upon searching wes wilson posters on bing image search it is easy to see what he was good at


squished together lettering on every poster.....he breaks every ''visual correctness'' rule there is in type setting/letting......and many you can tell they didn't use too many colors on purpose because every color cost more to print making the posters too expensive to use for those cash poor bands back in the day
