    This guy I know from back in the day... He was my bass player for awhile but we fell out of contact for about 10 years.

    He now builds guitar and bass pedals. Last year I wrote him an email because I had bought one of his pedals on ebay and wanted to give him some feedback about it. (great stuff, by the way) We have been in limited contact since then. Earlier this week I bought a custom finish version of another one of his pedals directly from him and I requested a different color of knobs. He said, "no problem" so I ordered and paid... He shipped out the next day.

    Today the box shows up... Larger box than it should have been. What gives?

    It has two pedals in it, the one I ordered, with the custom knobs, and another different one. Also a set of three books about building tube amps that used to be mine... I figured they had been long ago destroyed in either the flood, or the fire.... Seems I had loaned them to him and he just found them in a moving box that hadn't been opened for 8 years.

    So, yeah...

    Riffage will be happening....

    Interesting is a word I tend to use when I see something not quite "kosher".... Like if a student designed a guitar, I would say "That's interesting.." instead of telling him it was the ugliest thing I've ever seen...
