Okay so like I've been seeing this chick for 5 years. Don't get too excited I'm talking about my contact lens doctor hehe. Anyhoo. 5 years. And in those 5 years she's seen me take my contacts out to check my eyes. And she's never said anything. Then yesterday she says oh you shouldn't use that eye solution it has preservatives. Oh ok. So I bought these other drops. I just took my contact out after 20hrs and low and behold after using a non preserve solution, not one ounce of pain. Usually my eyes be bleeding tears when I take out my hard lenses. She could have fucken told me 5 years ago...
I have a love hate relationship with running. I hate it. I've never gotten a runner's high, I just feel fucking miserable the whole time I'm running. But I like how it makes my legs look. And it's good for my mental health, I dont get the high during but I do feel like I'm on a high for a few hours after
I just start thinking of people I hate and thinking like I'm a viking training for battle to kill the people I hate. That gets me through strenuous cardio. You need to feed off your adrenaline. You gotta find whatever it is you hate, something some bitch said to you back in fucken elementary school or some shit. And hate on it. And make that hate fuel you. Well that works for me anyway. And every step you make you treading on that bitches face. Just power up that hill stomping on noses.
I think it can actually! Gears, the distance and tempo can all put those leg muscles to work in a similar way
I was pretty much the same Mel when I used to run. I abandoned running after I started taking public transportation and never picked it back up again. Although I do hike on occasion.
I just always forgot which shoes to bring with me like sometimes I'd go to work and I'd forget my runners I only had my walking shoes and then one day I remember there was this fire in the building and we had to get out and I was like fuck I've only my walkers on, I need my runners.
Hiking is my jam and I cant begin to convey how disappointed I am all the trails are closed right now
