I listened to 20secs of that and he even said the band didn't want to go in his direction. So like Metallica said in their interview, if it had been recorded the way they wanted then it would have been their best album, hence the continuation of remastering that album year, by year, by year. Because it obviously didn't come out correctly.
Hornets fans only know music because you can play a horn. You can't play a rapt or a warr So like pffff
Two people from work are now self-quarantined and awaiting the results of a corona test. We spent the first part of this morning disinfecting anything that they may have had contact with. If either were to come back positive I suspect they'll shut down the entire place.
Not just 80's... But yeah, some bands use vintage gear, it depends on genre. Stoner rock is all about old gear... amps. guitars. effects. Probably most pro bands these days use digital modeling systems that play right through the PA system... Easy setup and consistent sound from gig to gig. It all sounds fake to me, digital modeling, but the majority of fans are used to listening to MP3 through ear buds, so they wouldn't know the difference anyways....
But what's being fed to the mixer could be a mic in front of a vintage amp, or it could be a little box trying to sound like a vintage amp. They don't do the same thing.
Yo tonez if you had your hand cut off would you go with a hook? Or a 3 pronged hook or what would you do there? Philosophy of the evening
