I don't think they generally preclude you from behaving in other ways just that you exhibit a certain type of personality. Kind of a crude analogy but think of it like booze. Alcohol is considered a depressant and displays those effects for most people, yet people can still be sociable and vivacious on it at times.
Bon Jovi sounded awful. But you really have to work at it if you don't have all your fancy production.
I find it hard to believe that anybody has the time or willpower to watch a band or an artist play a live concert on their couch or that anybody could remotely find that entertaining.
It's better then nothing but it does make me wish the live experience more. I "couch tour" a lot even before Covid.
Might not qualify as famous but he sounds really good.. Skip to like 3:50, before that he's just setting stuff up and rambling a bit.
I'd probably prefer watching a live concert on DVD than a couple of guys playing on their couch. It just feels so much like... Hey guys we are still relevant at the moment come listen to us play and it's like dudes, so I can't go to concert for a couple months pffff big deal. If musicians really wanted to impress Irm, they'd slash their merchandise prices while this is going down.
And then what about these bands that had no plans to tour anyway and all a sudden like oh shit, Okay let's play a set from the stairwell that'll be fresh.
I think right now some still want to share their music and do what they love while also showing solidarity with people who may be feeling blue due to lockdowns and quarantine.
Seeing my favorite musicians play in their living rooms has honestly been my favorite thing about this pandemic lol. I think it's ver nice!
I get a feeling this will be a "I don't agree with what Irminsul says so let's ignore her for 3 days" kinda day.
Not me. I'm just going to post videos of musicians you dont know or care about playing in their living room, and obnoxiously tag you @Irminsul
