Sorry I'm a food nerd. Pico is a simple salsa of minced onion, tomato, and cilantro. Consummé is a broth based sauce not unsimilar to au jus. So like the way way you'd dip a roast beef sandwich in au jus I dipped my taco in a chicken consummé (that could he dirty). It was a little runny and messy to eat but the flavor was there

 

No... I typically read cookbooks, history, or books on business practices. I can count on 1 hand the number of "entertainment " books I've read. Now if they make the movie, I'm there

Not sure how much comfort this is, but everyone is basically in the same boat.

Well. That thought is actually one that terrifies me, 7 billion people just sort of bumbling through things in total uncertainty. not sure that will end well.

This is the worst pep talk ever.

I feel you, is what I'm trying to say. I've mostly been positive about this out of pure shock, and because I've gotten a crash course in mindfulness and staying present. Because the future is scary to contemplate right now

 

As a species yes... as individuals? It's kinda like a lottery

 

Actually it was a good pep talk. Your crash course is something I've been raised to beleive in. This current situation has tested that for me. But you just reminded me I need to be strong. Thanks fam

I just found out Killer Mike has a food truck in Atlanta
So that's going to be the first thing I do when leaving the state becomes feasible again

 

I've started to become kind of a food nerd, too. I think it's fascinating.

 

Anyway, out of weed for the time being but we have some left over sake and my step dad left some beers in the fridge so I went from business owner, full time student, part time employee, to some asshole day drinking in her jam jams with her girlfriend (in her underwear) at 2:00pm... also listening to Run the jewels. This is life now

I was all set to donate blood today. There are shortages because of this lockdown on everything and I have an uncommon blood type. I haven't done it in a while and wasn't aware I needed an appointment, so I'll have to do it some other weekend. But I did start an account with the Kentucky Blood Center which is responsible for such things.
