I agree. And also I love halloumi cheese. This is going in a veggie burger. It's a good ten minutes I've got coming up. Coffee and veggie burgers. Then I'm going to go to the shop and unpack clothes order. No idea if this is "allowed" or not. It's not essential work, but also I will be in a closed room so I can't see a problem.
Oh man this is deep. I'd probably want to know who's talking to me, so I would probably go with that lol.
Remind them of the money they owe me. HAHAHA. I don't actually think that's funny but it's the obvious joke someone is going to make so let's get it out of the way.
It's a strange feeling. Recently there were a few times when I woke up and for half a minute literally could not remember where I was. Because of all the sleeping in different places. But it's alarming to imagine feeling that way often, and not recognizing people. I feel it gave me a glimpse of what that's like.
Badge number three zero one Sits in his car and stares at his gun He wipes the blood from his shirt, the sweat from his brow He got out this time but he don't know how Well he'd on on home but nobody's there No one to hold and no to care A couple years ago he had someone But one day he came home and she was gone Love and a .45 Are all you need to get ya through the night One'll kill ya, One'll keep you aliiive Looove and a .45 Parole number fourteen two Stands on the corner like she used to do She's been gone a while and she's a little afraid And the judge says he didn't want to see her again But she's got money she's got no rent The money she had is already spent Cause a couple days ago she leaned her lesson Went and bought herself a little Smith & Wesson Love and a .45 Are all you need to get ya through the night One'll kill ya, One'll keep you aliiive Looove and a .45 At three fifteen he got a call Somebody heard a scream behind the wall In a little motel down by the bay But before he got there they got away.. The sun's going down on me Thoughts of her keep haunting me Destination is taking hold My hands are on the steering wheel But my heart's back in Louisville At the far end of a thousand miles of road Now I ain't gonna waste my time Talken on nö payphone line Words just can't get the message through If this rig'll hold out one more day She'll hear me 40 mile away Tearing this 4 lane half in 2 Well she ain't just a truck stop queen She's the light guiding me A thousand miles for her love Well I'd drive a million for one kiss Fucken drive those pistons with my fist And I'd do it all again if it ain't enough My mind's grinding like a steel gear baby I gotta cover some ground She know how hard and fast I'm falling for her And she could just hear the sound Of the Hammer.. OF THE HAMMER GOIN' DOWN!
This is an oversimplification and not all of it is fully understood but there is a region of the brain called Broca's Area which plays a role in language processing and an area called the hippocampus which is responsible for memory storage. There is an area called Wernicke's Area which plays a role in language comprehension. Damage to Broca's and Wernicke's area is linked with developing aphasias where people have a difficult time forming sentences and understanding sentences respectively. There are also different types of memory as Driftrue alluded to.
What about when it happens and like, say you're 50 and then something happens and they wake up and they think they're 16 again. And they don't even know their spouse anymore, or that they had kids. And they're 50 but they think they're a teen still.
On the walking dead the scientist brought up a video and he said that your brain was really just a bunch of electrical impulses. The brain seems stupid. No wonder AI will take over.
