It's just a question of if the universe needs anything, and all it ever needs is precisely what it has. There is no reason to assume it could exist in any other way than that in which it does. It's perfect at something: existing.
Is the universe just as good at existing as us, or better? I mean what is perfect about just existing other than how we perceive it?
I agree that we are of the universe, or a part of. But not that the universe itself or other parts/aspects of it are personally related to us.
Honestly, I don't think perfection is a good word. On the other hand, I do think we are too eager to idealize life. A human definition of perfection would equate to the end of life, but we don't comprehend that. Life requires suffering. That's why Heaven is full of dead people. We literally are the universe, in my opinion, so the question is kind of loaded. I'm just saying that, in order to exist, everything that has ever happened was actually necessary, however horrible we may find it. But perfect? I don't know if that applies. There is only ineffable suffering and ineffable bliss.
I do believe there is a higher order of mind that we're not consciously aware of. But I think all of our minds are a part of it. Yes, like fragments of God. There is a deep subconscious we are not fully aware of.
