I recall hearing they had a slightly odd ascent to notoriety, at least in the US. I think the album which this song is on, as well as some of their other hits took about 5 years to get noticed by radio stations. I don't know if there other factors like the songs were only in digital format or something like that but it's kind of fascinating.

 

The rest of the album is trash.
