I read like 7or 8 of his books back in the 1980s (Twilight Eyes, Phantoms, The Watchers, The Eyes of Darkness, and a few others) and really enjoyed them but as a kid I couldn’t afford to read both Koontz and Stephen King who was just as prolific a writer. so I chose Stephen King

It's Truck series race day. qualifying in 10mins. Its going to be a bad race I'm expecting a lot of wrecks over the 115 lap race. Atlanta has always been a horrible track for tyres and ive already tested and if you try to start like you do any other track in 2nd gear foot flat you will wreck. You are 100% wrecking wheelspin, so if I do not qualify that well I will start from pit lane because I don't want to be in that mess. I'm hoping for a top 10 Q run with the more experienced guys but I'm not even convinced. Then the truck is wrecking loose for 4 laps minimum. After 15 laps you have no grip on the rear and are loose down the straights. You cannot make quick turn you will spin out. A fuel run is about 45-50 laps, but you won't make it on tyres.
Starting P4. I have a aggressive guy inside me though. I wouldn't be surprised to see him light the tyres up and kill my race.
Yup. He lit the tyres up and wrecked the field. Luckily I missed it. But, iracing connection failed so I got disconnected. Was coming 3rd too. I'm going back in but I'll be laps down now and out of the win.
I've read a ton of his stuff. I liked Lightening and Cold Fire best. I started the Odd Thomas series but have lost out on it. (The movie was really good, btw.)
i just memories lynn…...I had a bunch of various mementos from my career that went in the fire...tbh I was never autograph guy... I watched yesterdays race......see those 2 blondes they showed sitting in the stands with the matching cowboy hats?... ….you were so right about the racing styles irminsul…..where are we next week?
Well I put up a fight to get back.i joined back into the race 2 laps down in 29th and I raced back to finish 11th 1 lap down do not too bad considering.
Hmmm. Homestead, 100 laps. Interesting track to race, not so fun watching it. One of my least favorite races to watch for some reason. The track offers 3 distinct banking lines in the turns so when the tires wear off you can choose to stay inside the shortest distance around the race track but the baking is slightly less than the high side where you can get in slower and ride the wall and gain your speed off the corners down long straights. I'm an inside racer. On the inside line I have two options when avoiding trouble. On the outside albeit fast off corners you only have the inside to avoid trouble and if someone already there then you have the wall to the right or the wreck right front lol. Also, what spins down, will spin up. So a spin will most likely result in a car sliding up the track.
Oh but I have my big series race on Thursday in Fontana California, auto club Speedway. It's a full life schedule so I'll be racing Thursdays 36 times a year.

some people. We ripped down all these woods, so we and 500 others could build homes here and be safe, all these creatures need to find somewhere else to live,” Marcy, 38, of Cecil Twp. over Coyote sightings.. These people are goofy af!
^I'm on some stupid community page on facebook and all the Karen's are currently freaking out because there have been a bunch of coyote sightings in their neighborhood...but honestly Karen, what do you expect when you move into a sprawling suburban development that was a huge woodland area just a few short years ago? These Karens, I swear
