Mmmm listening to new Chris Knight album.

When I first got it I was camping last year so never took the time to really appreciate it but I knew it was good. It took like 6 or 7 years for Knight to release a new album so he may have saved his best to last.

 

Should be interesting how I play pool this morning. Played really well in my practice just now. Shooting straight. As soon as I practice I take one straight shot up the table from the centre and hit a ball at the opposite end that's also in the centre and resting on the top rail. If my white ball hits the object ball and travels straight back toward me it means I hit the white ball straight and perfect. If the white ball comes off at any angle it means you inadvertantly did not hit the white ball in the centre and/or did not aim straight. So it's a quick and simple test of how you are that particular day. Now, I don't really have the time atm to train myself out of bad days, so I kind of gauge my day on that first shot. I hit the ball dead straight and pretty near perfect and results have played that way in practice. Though we play a hard team this morning so I dunno what I'm expecting. Just keep plugging along I guess.

Time to have a shot of whiskey and get gone and find out.

Woo I just played 3rd best woman in the nation of the great Germany and I beat her! I'm so happy and proud of myself she snookered me to death and I got out each and every time. I can lose them all now I don't care. That one meant a lot to me.

I JUST BEAT DRAGO! Another rep player who did not take me seriously at all and I shit talked him after about it too I could see him not really paying much attention or caring about his shots figured whatever he left me was good enough for me not to get. No way mate, no fucken way, you don't take me seriously and I'm gonna get ya!

And I did! He started to stress late in the game, I played 3 fucking fantastic shots to pot 8. 2/2 now! Fuck yeah!

I think team is losing and we will lose but! I'm playing well against the better players now.

I snarkily said to him after the game "Drago.. You take me more seriously next time, you hear me?" I didn't wait for a response, I walked off.

This guy is like 50. told him str8. Fucken get that into ya!

 

Our team lost but I was a perfect 3/3. Absolutely stoked. Last game I played to win I missed he had a non easy shot but by his standard easy, hit the 8 way to hard it rattled out I cleaned it up.

Driving alone my street today, guy starts backing out of his driveway. I can see him, so he can clearly see me. Then he stops basically across 75% of the road, I have to kind of put my right wheels on the snowbank to get around, and the guy looks at me like I'm in the wrong. So, that's a good start to my day...
