God the drama of being an admin on iracing league is frustrating.

You know that whole reflective thing on my paint scheme? Well sometimes during the night racing that spec map won't correctly portray. On some cars it does, some it doesn't. So one person in our league make like a highlights package of that race and people who's number didn't have spec map or their car they complain heavily even though they know the glitch in iracing.

I had to slam my admin hammer down. I said "look whether your car shows your paint scheme correctly or not, we aren't going to stop a race or a broadcast because of it... It's not on us, it's the way trading paints loads your scheme into the race Server". Trading paints is a 3rd party application used to upload car files.

Then we have arguably the fastest guy in our race league and top 5 in Europe and on Thursday even though we posted that the top 10 cars from the 2019 league CUP season would automatically make the Daytona 500 so long as you participate in the Duel qualifying race. (which is really only one race, not two so I dunno why the series admin calls it that lol)

Anyway.... So he decides not to show up and it's all internet trolling facade. He's like well I won 80% of the league races last year and I'm the shit and invincible. So he didn't practise, test, qualify or make the Duel.

Now he's whining massively and threatened to quit the league. From a league perspective this is a good thing. When you consistently get 30+ guys show up for a race it gets tiring when the same guy wins all the time so by him not being there it actually will help league growth and maybe even I can get a few more wins.

But rules is rules. No duel, no race. He didn't bother participating because his attitude was I don't have to race with these jokers ill just show up and win. So as far as I'm concerned, good riddance. Fucken stooge.

 

And you know what else? I am sooo sick of my teams voice at the moment. A week to prepare for that 12hr race, then the race, then the NASCAR season kicked off... It's been near 2 straight weeks of having to hear their voices and I'm just about fed up with it tbh.

I'll be glad once this Daytona 500 is over I won't have to speak to them for 48hrs.

It's like you know when you're like 10 and your cousin comes over and then you kind of get sick of them by the end of the weekend but then you gotta front up and go to school with them all week too and it just gets awkward?

That's how it feels. Like I'm 10 again and sick of everybody around me.

I have some audio. I thought about posting something but it sounds horrible. I need some kind of setup where the audio feed from the microphone goes directly to my phone. But I dont get many luxuries. Its basically a step above karaoke. Only done it a few times. But the Lego guy has inspired me to do more

 

The dry ice hash is more ashy and less melty than the ice water hash, but potent and way less work with a way better yield.
