cracked can be used as long as vented. it was cracked before the inspection it can stay cracked for 24/72 hours. responsibility is on the homeowner sign off on it. nobody is going to die. the amount of CO gas is about as much as would be second hand.. CO is only deadly when concentrated. if that was the case you would die scrapping the ice off the car when it was running..

unless it was spitting flames, slpits can happen on a brand new 2nd fire up. it is what it is. this is why furnace inspection is necessary.. Many people dont cause they think they getting ripped off. Hvac is like the used car salesman .. its true. I would wrong person but others will.
