I usually just rinse my tea thingie out and dry it with a hand towel

I do the same with my cast iron pan but I havent figured out how to prevent cast iron from rusting and it hurts my soul

How do you dry it? Do you just wipe it dry with a towel?

That's how I used to do it then my boyfriend suggested putting it on the burner for a second to cook the water off but it still has sort of a rusty finish to it now

Should I be doing this? Are you supposed to oil it after use?

Yeah, cook the water off and oil it. Surprised it is rusting. Is it super humid where you live? Wonder if that could be a factor

Yeah it's always humid here, that probably has something to do with it. Maybe I should put a dehumidifier in my kitchen

I Leave Mine Oily And When It Gets Too Dirty...... Into The Dishwasher It Goes.......

THEN To Stop It Rusting I Use A "Basting Brush" And Cooking Oil To "Season" It Again......

    Cheers Glen.
