Read the article. The people in the highest echelons of the US government not only knew about the attacks, they were part of them.

http://www.911timeline.net/ is another great timeline link. it's pretty much a minute by minute guide as to what went on that day. Also, there is video linked on that site http://www.mycountryrightorwrong.net/F-15.htm showing a jet (I THINK an f-15, but I'm not sure) fly by as the second plane made impact. Yet the government claims that the nearest fighter jets were several minutes away when the impact occured.

They could have shot it down and at least saved several hundred lives, but yet they allowed that plane to slam into the second tower, and then tried to cover it up by saying they weren't even there.

I'm with ya L_S, but I've shown this to tons of people and nobody gives a shit. It's still worth the effort I think though, if you can get at least a couple of people to see it for what it is.

i think i have ADD when it comes to really big writings...or just SEVERE laziness...or a combination of the two, could anyone sum up how the us government was in on it? i mean i know they knew about it and bush was on vacation like, all of august..but how was he and the rest of his cabinet in on it? and how come its not widely known?

 

ok, reading thins really reminded me of Nineteen Eighty Four by the good old Mr. Orwell...i mean , a few select who control what everytone thinks, the few who can think for themselves ares een as outcxasts...then everyone the "otherwise good"/"sheep"/"proles" who cannot think, cannot see past the lies they are fed on a daily basis...i dislike the world i am being given

It's a little something called critical thinking. It's not even that, it's just thinking The first time I thought something wasn't the way it seemed was when they were showing the names and pictures of the dead hijackers.. that was the 11th or 12th. I mean, how in the hell could they be so freakin' sure on whodunit, and not have those people arrested those people when they were in the airport?
And then, even with the stories they were giving us, how could you not suspect that something wasn't right? How could people with suspected terrorist ties learn how to fly planes in the U.S?
And also, who had the most to gain from these attacks...? You don't see bin-Laden passing Patriot Acts and throwing Muslim "terrorists" in prison, without giving them a trial or even any clue as to why they're in there...

It's called corporate media. Everybody who matters in the White House is linked to some corporation, most likely they were CEOs in the past. All the tv channels that *you* (not I, and some other people, because we've found independent media) are owned by 5 corporations. They are making money off this war, possibly because they are also making tanks for the US military, among other things.. they know the truth, but if that truth were to get out to the public, they'd be ruined.

The first time I noticed something strange was during the attacks themselves. Before the attacks were even over, the news networks were already shouting "Osama bin-Laden." How could they already know when the attacks weren't even over, let alone an investigation carried out?

 

whats an independent media, i mean i know what it is in essence, but could you give an example. i feel like i'm being lied to by watching the news now.

I watch Link, sometimes. Haven't in a while. I used to watch Karachi Cops , a lot. I don't get Free Speech TV, though. I have DirecTV. Freeviews are cool, sometimes, though.
