The Stand was my first king book.....if you really loved the stand, check out the Dark Tower series.....you'll visit some familiar characters there
Im around page 960 or so on the stand. I havent finished it since what happened to nick. Once that happaned i havent put it back up. Although reading everyones comments makes me want to go home right now, throw away the weed and read. =D From what i have read from The Stand, it is excellent, when Larry was walking around NYC when everyone is dead. Loved that part of the book.
