So I'm watching South Park, and there's this one episode where Cartman figures that since you shove food down your throat and crap out your ass, then if you shoved food up your ass you would crap out your mouth and it works! Except that Comedy Central censored all of the scenes that showed people crapping out of their mouths. At the time I assumed that it was because they didn't want to show poo on cable, but now I'm watching the episode where Randy beats Bono for the worlds biggest crap record, and THEY'RE SHOWING THE POO on TV and omg now I don't know why they censored it before...
the censorship requirements seem pretty random anymore. the episode you're referring to used to be able to be shown uncensored, then at some point it suddenly became taboo. i've seen that with a few south park episodes; they were fine at the time but now they're censored. on the other hand, south park can now say "shit" any time they want, but when comedy central shows chris rock doing stand up comedy, they censor "shit" every time he says it.
I've noticed that. I'm new to cable, I'm away at school right now and they pump that shit straight into my room
I've always watched south park on their site (until they became sell outs to hulu :/) Seeing a censored episode of south park was truly a different experience But I'm guessing there was some law agaisnt shitting out your mouth, cause it's unnatural? idk. South park is always breaking new barriers, there have probably been many censorship laws created to combat Matt and Trey
yeeah, like a million years ago I would watch it on thier site, and then a few weeks ago I tried and was incredibly disappointed to see that Hulu thing...
They bleep out so much of Rock that you can barely figure out what he's saying, unless you remember a lot from HBO. :-( 1:00 Eastern, because the same shows are rolling at 12:00 Central Time. Sucks.
