nothing gets past this guy. do you really think anybody would be dense enough to start a thread asking about something as simple as that? (let alone rygoody) besides, what you're describing isn't a hazy mix of black and white, but rather the opposite color of a light embedded into the retina. for instance, if you were staring at a purple light, you would get a yellow imprint. and I do believe it has been established that these shadows don't move in sync with the eyeball.
