I was in a band w three guys, we were called Lindsay Lux and the Lady boys

 

no i just use my step-dad for inspiration...if you REALLY want a friggin awesome band name you should talk to him...

though i do daydream a lil bout bein in a band...gotta figure out how to play those drums sittin in my apt a bit better first though

i hate trying to come up with emails/screen names/user names/etc...so i picked one extremely general SN and i use it for everything...

cause one of those band names might be great for one place, but terrible for another?

really i dunno...i just like to keep things simple, and since many jobs i've had usually use some sort of variation of my first and last name (currently it's thestilow to log in to my work computer) this just keeps everything that much more streamlined.......plus im lazy and dont wanna go change anything

phil, my suggestion...get stoned and then think about it i mean some of these bands names now adays are so simple and sometimes dont mean anything...killswitch engage, saving able, theory of a deadman, disturbed, slipknot....get stoned first, then contemplate the meaning of string in a corner somewhere and it will come to you

 

Slipknot I wouldn't consider as now a days. More of a 90's band. Well that's when they didn't suck at least and 2000 after that they sucked pretty bad.

Well I'm mostly kidding. I know metal is technically amazing, I just don't happen to like most metal. I like some though. I prefer lyrical melodic stuff and favor acoustic and blues guitar.

 

Acoustic guitar is hard lol I suck at it so bad. I can play electric pretty decently. Like I can do sweep picking and arpeggios and 8 finger tapping and all that shred stuff but I got an acoustic recently for my birthday and it's like learning all over again.

Atleast all my dexterity and stuff still applies

 

Yeah see I almost always play acoustic. I love how warm it sounds and I like playing rhythm, finger picking is awesome too. I'm kinda retarded on electric... I leave that to the bf.

 

ok...y'all keep talkin about metal and stuff and how cool it is....maybe I havnt heard real metal then....anybody care to enlighten? Post some links. Because when I think metal I think creepy white guys with long black hair who wear all black and scream a lot. I didnt realize it was an art...but perhaps Im mistaken?
