That's true... she definitely isn't rock.

  4. Nah, she rocks. All girls rock and are rock stars. Salt n Papa are my favorite rock stars.

    Rock and roll.

    Phoebe Bridgers
She is an indie princess, not a rock star
But just look at her! She looks like a cute little elf! maxresdefault.jpg

Elves are gracious/aesthetically pleasing but not always have that raw r'n r sex appeal. If you are more prone to calling her cute that basically says it all.

Woah! I remember seeing her in Music magazines/Books. For some reason, I always thought she was electronic music (maybe subconsciously the PJ was close to DJ or something) which I was not really into at the time. But definitely much different than I thought.

It's different. Not like YYYs at all but still good. Ministry is a good song.

I listened to it and it was good. Trip Hop vibe.

I grew up on classic rock and there is this general perception solo acts are never as good as the bands they departed from. They either fade into obscurity or sell out. I'm not sure how applicable it is now but I rarely check out post group solo works.

  19. How about Avril Lavigne? Now there's a girl you know can suck cock.

    Rock and roll.

I always thought of the YYYs as Karen but it wasn't till I heard her solo stuff that I realized how much the funky drumming and guitar riffs meant to their overall sound. They're much more than Karen's vocals. I loved the band when I was young and Mosquito came out when I was in high school and I was all about it but I didnt really appreciate them as a band until I heard Karen's solo stuff. It caused me to sort of rediscover them and conclude that the YYYs just might be the best band of the past 20 years
