I don't think this website would be nearly as good without Glen's posts : )

When I was a kid (like 10 or 11) I used to love love love bratwurst. :sunglasses: I still like hotlinks (spicy sausages), but not with the voracity that I used to. Now my honest feeling is that I will put on unnecessary weight for eating them! :D

Klobasa sausages are immense! So good in fact, you don't really need any sauce to go with them.

Bratwurst with sautéed onions and green peppers. Spicy brown mustard! Yum!

    Scotch Eggs. Brilliant.

Yeah, I'm not sure you can buy klobasa sausages in the Uk (I had them while I was in Prague), they are Slovenian in origin.

Also, at boarding school kielbasa was a staple menu item at times. I do think we got it something like every week in the upper-school. This of course reminded me of the bratwurst I loved as a child. I think I packed on considerable poundage when I was between 10 and 20. Then I started going to the gym... But at my heaviest I think I was 230 lbs. (104.3 kilograms(lol I don't know what units of measure you use for weighing a person in Britain)) Today, I'm glad to say I weigh a little closer to normal; though I'm heavier than I'd like still. 185 lbs. or 83.9 kilograms; which is within normal range for someone who is 6 feet tall. I am just about to have three lovely Pork and Apple Sausages with chips and pease and veg and gravy.
Wifey has made a lovely sticky toffee pudding cake to finish.
