Yep, over 22 million of them and counting fast, so thinking that there must be a reason for this. Meanwhile, how much attraction is your state getting? Florida Population 2023 (Demographics, Maps, Graphs)

I think I'll just sit on the sidelines and watch for awhile, since I hate having to eat my own words. And especially after they've been regurgitated.
I think the population growth is due to climate, absence of a state income tax, and government and culture favorable to bigots. Texas of the east!
I'll go with the first two and there's more, a lot more, but with the bigotry claim, most of FL is made up of north easterner's among other transplants and pretty rare to find the born and raised there anymore, although no one leaves to retire elsewhere for the most part. What I mostly see among the citizens, is like for visiting in all 50 states and have done that too.

True, you’re correct. But I grew up in the northeastern part of the United States and have been on the receiving end of some pretty vile racial comments, jokes, physical confrontations. Surprisingly, not as much down South. I’m speaking from personal experience.
I also grew up in the northeast, Massachusetts to be exact, and yes there are bigots but there are also those who fight bigotry. New England is an interesting mix of liberals, moderates and conservatives.
