I have been watching this show ever since the pilot aired. I am obsesssssssssed. It's friggin awesome and awkward... and laden with dark humor. Yeah, I never really did watch Lost. I'm not big on prime-time.... I really haven't watched prime-time that much since The Drew Carey Show and Seinfeld went to reruns. The Riches, and Colbert/Daily show, Reno 911, are really the only ones I follow... Planet Earth, on Discovery, has been pretty awesome. They're also supposed to do a special episode on Musical Autism that features Stephen Stills' son, this year...
Actually, The Riches is on FX... Comedy Central is pretty grand, though Viacom is a pathetic excuse, if I must say so.
Yeah, I didn't think so. Comedy Central, Discovery and the new channels are the only thing I watch on TV when it's around.
I LOVE the Riches I'm obssessed with it now too, I force myself to stay up till 12 every monday night so I can watch it
I think it's a pretty good show, a little contrived at points, but all in all a good balance of pathos, humor and the dark underbelly of America. I was a little disappointed that eddie izzard wasn't in drag though, but i'm pleasantly surprised at how well he is as an actor (i half expected another 'Everybody Loves Raymond')... Definately check out some of his stand up sometime, it's frickin brilliant.
Yeah, that would be all fine and dandy...except Eddie Izzard isn't deliciously British/queeny/boob-ed. I'd watch it if it weren't for that very absurd fact.
