The problem with the idea of an american revolution is that it just won't happen unless it happens admist a global crises.

As soon as it became obvious that it was coming, you would suddenly hear that Iran (or syria or venuzuela or north korea, etc),launched an attack and the world is heading to war...

Even if a revolution did start in the US though, it wouldn't improve very many peoples lives there, (even those hiding in the woods), because the US would cease to exist as states started fighting amongst themselves to fill the power vacumn left.

At which point you would be looking at;

The end result would not be a better life for most americans... although I am sure you would find a lot of happier people in other countries...

although, Modern warfare II would become quite boring when living the real thing and not having Xbox Live anymore.

 

See, one could really hope that before a global crisis happens, we'll all be on the net through satellites and they won't get shot down... lol

 

Just nip out from time to time and partake in REAL modern warfare....

 

I wonder how long the current stock of weapons would hold out after a collapse...
