she who sees from up high smiles and surely sings
perspective pries your once weighty eyes and it gives you wings
havent felt the way...i feel today in so long its hard for me to specify
im beginning to notice, how much this feels like a waking limb
pins and needles, nice to know you goooodbyyyyeee!!!

My head used to swim from the perfume I smelled
My hands kinda fumbled with her white plastic belt
I'd taste her baby pink lipstick and that's when I'd melt
She'd whisper in my ear tonight she really was mine
Get back in front and put some hair oil on
Buddy Holly was singing his very last song
With your arms around your girl, you try to sing along
    It felt pretty good...Whoo!
    Really had a good time
    Hot patootie, bless my soul
Really love that Rock and Roll

So messed up, I want you here
In my room, I want you here
    Now we're gonna be face-to-face
And we lay right down in my favorite place
Now I'm ready to close my eyes
But now I'm ready to close my mind
And now I'm ready to feel your hand
And lose my heart on the burning sand

do u believe in magic, in a young girls heart, how the music can free her everytime it starts, its magic, if the music is groovy, if it makes you feel happy like an old time movie..

when everything gets lonely i can be my own best friend. grab a coffee and the paper and have my own conversations with the sidewalk and the pigeons and my window reflection~~We might die from medication, but we sure killed all the pain, but what was normal in the evening, by the morning seems insane...

    Wake me up when
    The party’s over
It seems I’ve had too much wine

    Please remember
    To remind me
If I had a good time

    Was I friendly?
    Or was I bragging?
And did I start to bore you?

    Was I charming?
    Or was I absent?
    Did I even say goodnight?

Fill me up lets take a ride
From your mouth into my mind
Cause I grow weary from this trip I’m on, yeah
And the ride keeps getting longer

    And in morning
I’ll be hungover with my face into the phone
    Please forgive here on after
By the way how’d I get home?

    Was I laughing?
    Was I choking?
And did I start to annoy you?

    Was I sleazy?
    Or was I dazzling?
    Did I even say goodbye?

fill me up lets take a ride
From your mouth into my mind
Cause I grow weary from this trip I’m on, yeah
And the ride keeps getting longer

So wake me up when the party’s over
I seems I’ve had too much wine

The Chokin' Kind - Joss Stone

I only meant to love you
    Didn't you know it, baby
    Didn't you know it?
    Why couldn't you
    be content
    With the love I gave...

    I gave you my heart
But you wanted my mind, oh yeah
Your love scared me to death, boy
    Oh it's the chokin kind
    That's all it is...

    You can kill a girl
With a bottle of poison or a knife
    I know you can
And hurt him more to take his pride
    And run his life
    Oh it's a shame, it's a shame...

    Whatever it is, boy
I surely hope you find, oh yeah
I tell you that hat don't fit my head
    Oh, it's the chokin kind...

It makes me wanna mmm mmm mmm mmm
Oh yeah, oh listen to me

When you fall in love again boy
    Take a tip from me...
If you don't like the peach
    don't walk by the tree
That's what you better do, honey.

    Find what you want boy
Keep it, treat it, sweet and kind, oh yeah
Oh let it breathe, don't make it the chokin kind
Oh no, don't break your heart baby...

Oh no, I know you love me really I do, honey
I tell you your love scares me to death boy
    It's the chokin kind
    That's all it is
I got to say it again
    It's that old chokin kind.

    Pink Floyd
    Jugband blues

It's awfully considerate of you to think of me there
and I'm most obliged to you for making it clear
    that I'm not there
and I never knew the room could be so big
and I never knew the room could be so blue
and I'm grateful that you threw away my old shoes
and brought me here instead dressed in red

And I'm wandering who could be writing this song
I don't care if the sun don't shine
I don't care if nothing is mine
and I don't care I'm nervous with you
I'll do my loving in the winter
    And the sea isn't green
    and I love the queen
and what exactly is a dream
and what exactly is a joke

  14. through early morning fog I see,
visions of the things to be
all the pains with held for me
I realize and I can see

    That suicide is painless,
    it brings on many changes
and I can take or leave it if I please

    Paul Simon
    Duncan

    Couple in the next room
    bound to win a prize:
they've been going at it all night long!
Well, I'm tryin' to get some sleep
but these motel walls are cheap:
    Lincoln Duncan is my name,
and here's my song, here's my song.

    My father was a fisherman,
my mama was a fisherman's friend,
and I was born in the boredom and the chowder.
So when I reached my prime
I left my home in the Maritimes,
headed down the turnpike for New England, sweet New England.

    Holes in my confidence,
holes in the knees of my jeans,
I was left without a penny in my pocket ....
Oo-oowee, I was about as destituted as a kid could be
and I wished I wore a ring so I could hock it ...
    I'd like to hock it

A young girl in a parkin' lot
    was preaching to a crowd,
    singing sacred songs
    and reading from the Bible.
Well, I told her I was lost
and she told all about the Pentecost,
and I seen that girl as the road to my survival,
    my survival.

    Just later on
    the very same night
when I crept to her tent with a flashlight
and my long years of innocence ended:
well, she took me to the woods,
sayin' "Here comes something, and it feels so good!",
and just like a dog I was befriended, I was befriended.

    Oh, oh, what a night,
oh, what a garden of delight ...
Even now that sweet memory lingers:
    I was playing my guitar
    lyin' underneath the stars
    just thankin' the Lord
    for my fingers,
    for my fingers ...

  20. late great johnny ace
    Paul Simon

    I was reading a magazine
And thinking of a rock and roll song
    The year was nineteen fiftyfour
And I hadn't been playing that long
When a man came on the radio
And this is what he said
He said I hate to break it to his fans
But Johnny Ace is dead, yeah, yeah, yeah

    Well, I really wasn't
    Such a Johnny Ace fan
But I felt bad alI the same
So I sent away for his photograph
And I waited till it came
It came all the way from Texas
With a sad and sim-ple face
And they signed it on the bottom
From the Late Great Johnny Ace, yeah, yeah, yeah

It was the year of The Beatles
It was the year of The Stones
    It was nineteen sixtyfour
    I was living in London
With the girl from the summer be-fore

It was the year of The Beatles
It was the year of The Stones
    A year after J.F.K.
We were staying up all night
    And giving the days away
And the music was flowing amazing
    And blowing my way

    On a cold December evening
I was walking through the Christmas tide
When a stranger came up and asked me
If I'd heard John Lennon had died
And the two of us went to this bar
And we stayed to close the place
    And every song we played
Was for The Late Great Johnny Ace, yeah, yeah, yeah
