    "The quality of mercy is not strain'd."

    —The Merchant of Venice.

    When people first heard that in Shakespeare's time, they thought what? I give it voluntary? Because justice was about vengeance then. But he said thunder and lightning come from heaven. But so does the gentle rain, which nourishes and heals.

    And mercy is twice blest because it makes you feel better about yourself. It softens your heart and makes you better to ppl in your life. And it benefits society sometimes in ways we don't even know.
