To the OP: If you actually think the pull out method is a safe form of birth control then I don't think you need to be having sex.
I think it's funny that the OP refers to pulling out as a BC method. It is more of a birth inducing method. I have only heard like a million horror stories... My advice is get on real birth control, use a condom or don't have sex if you don't want to become impregnated.
When i read this i laughed because i am in almost the same situation! My boyfriend and i dont like to use condoms because they are like you said 1. expensive and 2. for some reason really irritate me. I havent gonnen pregnent and i dont know anyone who has, but unprotected sex is risky. I know what your going through with the birth control thing because i really dont want to do it either. I am afraid of what effects it will have on my body plus i have no idea what form i would choose. Like i said i havent gotten pregnent but every month i prey for my period and im not sure if that kind of stress is very healthy. I know this probably doesnt really answer your questions but i wanted you to know that you are not alone. I am going through the same thing. =] peace
You really should talk to a doctor. If you don't have the means through your healthcare, then do so through planned parenthood. They will give you information on all of your options to prevent pregnancy. It would be good to just talk to them, and look at your options. You shouldn't have to worry or stress yourself out about this. There are so many different things you could try, and even if you aren't sure, it doesn't hurt to go talk to the doctor and ask for more information.
Go on the pill or something, girl. You really are asking for it. That is the last thing you want at age seventeen.
Actually pre cum does not contain sperm. It's strictly the male form of lubrication. The only way you could get pregnant from it is if the guy ejaculates before sex and there is left over sperm in the shaft of his penis Ps. I've used the same method as you for 2 years, and not preggers. We do it like rabbits too hahaha!!
The Pull Out Method. A Gamble. Finished your title =P I'd call it "kinda" or "barely" birth :control:ling. There's tons of speculation as to whether "pre-cum" actually contains sperm, so your dude you could be shooting mini loads in you before he even releases fully. Best of luck
That is my favorite part. You didn't even capitalize the "completely" to make sure anyone who reads this knows you mean business. That would have totally kept guys like me from making posts like this.
Half a lemon. All the birth control you need. http://www.ehow.com/how_2160941_juice-as-birth-control-alternative.html
It costs around $200,000 to raise a child... condoms are cheaper... You can also use a copper IUD which works by filling the cervical mucus with copper which will kill sperm. It stays inside your body and is good for years. Doesn't mess up your cycle and is one the most effective methods of birth control.
seriously dude, pull out method. been using it for years. and if an accident happens, abortions really arent that expensive
I'm shocked people still hold on to the myth that the Pull Out method is a gamble. It is just about as effective as using condoms. http://abcnews.go.com/Health/Economy/story?id=7688558&page=1 A couple can also keep Plan B in their medicine cabinet too if they find they have occasional laps in self control to pull out.
THANK YOU!!! People, this method doesn't work when you don't know your own body and how it works. 1.) Pull out method is now proven to only be 1% less effective than condoms (if used correctly of course.) 2.) Don't use it if your guy has previously had an orgasm, because sperm may still be in his shaft and will get stuck in his precum 3.) Precum does NOT contain sperm/ it's simply male lubrication. 4.) The only two ways a girl can get pregnant this way is either because her guy didn't pull out fast enough or they had sex twice, and the sperm left over in his shaft got mixed with his precum.\ This has all been proven, but this is probably only a good method as long as you're with a steady partner obviously because of STDs.
