I have a giant pile of miscellaneous papers that have their own spot claimed. I have no idea what is in it but it must be important.

You drop things on the floor in the kitchen and think "i'll get it later".

 

True. The kitchen's a mess. But less of a mess than the rest of the house because I try to keep some semblance of order in there ... whereas I've given up elsewhere.


You wouldn't know how to use a lunge whip ... or even be certain what one is.

I have two horses [both rescued] who live on the farm with several other horses-some of whom are carriage horses. MUHHH!

Um ... I predict that the next poster might get the wrong idea if I were to say I like having sixteen hands between my legs.

 

Alf is a 16.2 hand Arab ex racer.
Dandy [my fave,tho' I shouldn't say it] is an 18.2 hand Percheron/Clydesdale cross.
Dandy is just a ton of muscles on the hoof-but a gentler hoss you'll never meet. I've ridden him for miles along the beach and/or across the marshes and never used a bit or a harness,just a bridle.
He has a very soft mouth,so a Martingale would be like torture and I refuse to even countenance the use of one.

However,I digress.....I predict the next poster will be wondering wtf all this horse chat is about.

I didn't even know my birthday was approaching,let alone how close it was-got one HELL of a shock when a policewoman walked in the pub as we were gigging,stopped the gig in it's tracks....then take her clothes off and sit on my lap on stage!
