whoa, I skipped the middle pages, but somehow a post about the pope has turned into a raging debate over communism. forums rock.

 

Lenin thought that the transitional stage to commnism, but before that ever happened Stalin was empowered... and he made it spiral out into a war machine... Read the article I posted for more about that.. Lenin's ideals werent as bad as propagandist publications put them out to be.. he outlined equality, womens rights, and right to abortion AND free press, and abolished racism... when he was first in power t hey did not censor anyone besides a militant anti-jewish pro-fascist group. Lenin did not have absolute power, and that is obvious at his failed attempts at persuading everyone against the prov gov't. and to thwart Stalin and he DID attempt to give absolute democracy to the people.... he gave speach after speach trying to persuade the people to bring down the Prov gov't and warn everyone of the upcoming starvation forced by stalin.

Religion is just man's excuse to be better. We have ego problems... And we use religion as an excuse for death, doom and destruction. (war) Is religion really about it?? no.

Everyone is going to die. Death is the biggest mystery, so everyone wants to have a belief about it and they want their belief to be right. Christianity is the newest religion out of them all. They just stole everyone elses beliefs and twisted them to make their own.
I do believe the Pope was a good man, and I think the reason why they kept showing his funeral and so many people came to his view, was because there is going to be a big change. They don't know who is going to be the pope, I mean now the Pope could be black or spanish, which could make problems happen. Who knows. Maybe this is another sign that the future isn't going to be good...

 

well,first of all i can tell u that pope will not be a black person(at least 4 a long time)

second, of course they kept showin his funeral he's the leader of catolic church and he's a sort of celeb.

and last, i'v allready written in my post that's why so many people visit pope,
belive me most of this people's ancestor's converted 2 catholic by force.
imagine they'v made whole south america 2 convert 2 catholicn and now they have a support from whole continent

The Church did not have the natives killed. That was the Spanish Army's excuse to exterminate them. In fact, on the whole, most priests tried to help the natives who suffered under oppression. Yes, I will be the first to admit the church has done some terrible things in the past, no matter how low the number may be, one is to much. But it's exsisted for 2000 years, it is bound to fuck up and then correct itself, and It has done a lot to make up for what it's done, and is argueably the biggest chairty donor in the world.
