Are you on Crack Eliot? The salary cap era has made it even harder for teams in the NFL to be consistently good. If the Patriots win the Super Bowl this year, they can be easily considered as good as the Packers of the 60's, the Steelers of the 70's, the 49ers of the 80's and the Cowboys of the 90's. Most analysists would agree that because of the salary cap - a Patriots win in the Super Bowl, 3rd championship in 4 years is perhaps the most impressive dynast of them all.

Obviously you're still a bit hungover from the Pats thrashing the Colts and the sad fact that the ownership of that team has made stupid decisions regarding the salaries they have given Peyton and Harrison, essentially hangcuffing the future of the Colts franchise over the next five years.
