Seriously...i dont see it as being anti women in the same way i wouldnt see it as being anti man if a lesbian said the cock was gross. Every single gay guy i know is turned off by the female form and genitalia...its why we are GAY MEN..Any gay man that finds the female form and genitalia anything other than off putting is flat out lying.

 

please try and grow up a little, gay men don't need to find it off putting just because they are not sexually attracted to women.
if all gay men found it as off putting as you, there would never be the amount of gay nurses working in care careers and looking after women and doing intimate care on females with a host of different bodies.
no body is insisting you start to be sexually attracted to women but to call their bodies gross is just juvenile.

I will also remind you that this forum isn't just for gay men its for members of the LGBT community and the type of things things that you have been saying on this thread, promotes an uncomfortable atmosphere for women and people who don't find their bodies gross

I personally think your being hyper sensitive about this...Gay men do not find women attractive period. If we did we wouldnt be gay..also, many gay men cant even say the word vagina never mind discuss it. I may be young and immature but i do know what the general feeling of gay guys to the opposite sex is...words repulsive may be insensitive however its how we feel...see im not just talking about the vagina..im talking about what it entails and that means menstruation and all that business...not only are gay guys turned off by this but most straight guys are too,..how many straight guys do u know who can openly talk to their wife or girlfriend about menstruation??...not bloody many i'll bet. This thread initiated a contentious issue about the opposite sex...it called for an HONEST opinion on how we as gay people view the opposite sex...im sorry if my HONESTY was too much for you...but thats life. You mention gay nurses...its their job, they have to be professional and put aside whether they like what they do or not. I dont want to come across as hating women just cause im a gay guy...i adore women and i would trust them before id trust any man...no woman ever started a war..they are the fairer sex...however this topic wasnt about showing that form of respect to women it was SOLELY on how we view the opposite sex from a physical perspective...gay guys i talk to are invariably disparaging about the female genitalia...it is off putting...i wont use any stronger words as i accept it can cause offence. Thats the reality. Besides...it doesnt matter what gay guys think as we arent the guys to impress...thats left for the straight guys.

Read the thread topic again...its about how we view the opposite sex...my take is SOLELY about the female form and all it entails. Im sorry if i am grossed out by it but i am...no-one and i mean no-one should take offence to this as im a gay guy and what i think is irrelevant given that i have no desire to ever be with a woman.

 

Listen there are ways of saying you don't like things and offensive ways of saying you don't like things, its called tact and if you are going to make the statements you have been doing about the female form in a place where women are present (I.E on an internet forum) comments from women calling you mean are the least you should expect

I have many friends, gay and straight who are comfortable with talking about menstration, it's called being:
A- Mature/Informed/Experienced
B- Self secure/sexually secure

The only reason gay guys would exclusivly talk about female genitailia in a negative way would be because of a group mentality caused initially by a small number of them with similar feelings which is what I suspect is your case, or you are just immiture/misinformed and need to get out more.

And please don't use the term 'we' like your the voice of the male gay community, we're not all morons.

I see the PC Brigade are out in full force. Im sorry but u people are far too sensitive...If you can't take the heat stay out of the kitchen. My views are shared by many of my gay friends. I challenge any of you to bring up the subject of female genitalia to a gay man and expect to get a reaction any different as i have on here. I can see where i can come across as being disrespectful as some of the words may be a tad strong, however its how i feel..Honestly. Maybe i am insecure about women as a gay guy..perhaps the experience of learning about menstruation and all that business in science class had a negative impact on me...i stand by what i said though, the female form is very off putting TO ME...this is a contentious issue and was always gonna cause controversy.

I don't get freaked out by female genitalia actually, Jeffrey. I talk to one of my female friends very openly about these things and do so comfortably. Sorry about all the bad reactions, but it's just a tad annoying being tossed into a group that YOU feel is reflective of a wide scope of a certain group of people (in this case being gay men). Yet again, generalising has caused conflict among us!

Nope. Thinking of vaginas doesn't actually freak me out from a sexual stand point either. I hate to be so blunt, but I can get off pretty easily from straight porn. Sure, menstration isn't something I like to think about much and I guess it's a little icky, but I don't feel "grossed out" by it.

I am a gay man, and I think that a naked woman can be the most beautiful thing in the entire world. The female form is so gorgeous and luscious and curvy. I mean, men are hot, but women are beautiful.

i still don't get why people would be so "grossed out" by mensruation? yeah, it's icky and i don't exactly like having blood coming out of me, but it's a natural thing... it's part of what makes me a woman and not a child.
