I always found amusing that CFC's weren't bad until DuPont's patents ran out......

..........one of the most serious issues related to the massive influx of illegal migrants is we have no idea who might have COVID (or some other serious health issue), who might be a sexual predator, a repeat-offender criminal, or some other sort of unsavory character.

With serious crime skyrocketing in so many areas around our country these days, we certainly DO NOT need see the crime rates rise even more, nor do we want to see the total collapse of grossly-overwhelmed hospitals, clinics, as well as not adding to the already chronic housing shortage.

I certainly see no easy way out, nor do I see any signs of things stabilizing even in the slightest......

Undocumented immigrants far less likely to commit crimes in U.S. than citizens

And yet a lot of them are committing crimes.

And do you know why? It's because they sneak in again and again without having to be vetted.

The immigrants who come in the proper way are less likely to jeopardize their status by making menaces of themselves, but the sneaker-inners don't give a shit.

    I hear you.

Those who have arrived "through the proper channels", and, who also strive to become good American citizens, indeed would NOT want to do ANYTHING that could cause them to have their citizenship revoked and deported back to their polint of origin.

    Just seems to make sense......

A state of Emergency has been declared in Massachusetts and in New York concerning the flow of undocumented migrants.

I was not aware of the state of emergency in Massachusetts.

Almost every day, I hear of yet another busload of migrants arriving at the Port Authority Bus Terminal in New York.

The city's health care system (not to mention other essential social services) are already light-years beyond overwhelmed.

Why the buses carrying these migrants simply are not sent back to their point of origin is beyond me.

The city (and, indeed, the nation) can barely take care of the people that are already here, let alone take in thousands of more.

I shudder to think what September will be like for the New York City School System.

One thing that truly bothers me is that all these migrants are coming here by the multiple busloads, and none have background checks.

How do you know what kind of people are among those honest people on those buses?

    Sexual predators

    Child molesters

    Drug dealers

    Criminals in general.

I cannot believe how long this crises has been going on now, with no end in sight.

It's a frightening situation for allof us.

I only wish that this much consideration was shown to our often-struggling veterans and senior citizens, especially those who are disabled.........

Last night on the news, frightening images of migrants trying to cross the border were aired; footage showed a Mexican freight train near the border, totally encased with hundreds (if not thousands) of people climbing aboard the freight cars; the railroad had to suspend operations due to severe safety issues.

    Sobering and scary.

This ongoing border crises is indeed frightening to all; it's really getting ugly, with no solution in sight.

It's only going to continue to worsen............

As long as there’s finger pointing going on:

The Purdue family, complicit MDs and Pharmacies deliberately gave us the opioid crisis…they knew.

Corporate gun pushers and gun nuts gave us a landscape where every criminal is armed and often better than the police. They knew.

Bought and paid for legislative goons created an economy where the wealthy have most of the wealth and pay a pittance in taxes. And cavetch about the national debt. They knew.

Everyday we are inundated with toxic waste from manufacturing and an archaic transportation system. Yet progress is called “socialism”. They knew.

We live on a planet at risk from climate change and yet denial is rampant thanks to monetary induced ignorance and malicious propaganda. They know.

And the real list go on……

Migrants gather near the border wall after crossing the Rio Bravo river with the intention of turning themselves in to the US Border Patrol agents to request asylum, as seen from Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, on September 22, 2023.

It's gotten worse, U.S. border cities are being overwhelmed. Border Patrol’s top cop said Sunday that smugglers are to blame for the latest migrant surge.

“Smugglers are illegally leading these big groups across the border for financial gain & using them as a distraction to run deadly narcotics and violent criminals into the U.S,” US Border Patrol Chief Jason Owens said in a post on social media. There are still people who say; What crisis? I would tell them to go bathe, or get a drink of water, out of the river or stream down river from a tent city. I seen on news the shit and garbage floating in them.
