Its very tough getting started. It has alot to do with trusting the person your getting together with to be repectful of your privacy and not have any kind of damaging agenda behind what takes place.

I'm also frustrated by homosexuality not getting nearly as much air time as heterosexuality gets. This battle is not productive nor fair, and certainly not necessary in any sense of the word.
But things are slowly changing. They are beginning to show same sex couples in commercials, even for a dating service that was only for opposite sex couples. In some ways, introducing this idea of two people of the same sex gradually is a good idea, as it will keep the attention of controversy to a minimum, and before you know it homosexuality will be virtually as normalized as heterosexuality. On the other hand, there shouldn't be any fuss about it to begin with, and someone like you or I rightly are OK with two people of whatever gender demonstrating admiration, as long as the clothes stay on, so to speak.
I'm also frustrated, disappointed, indignant that people who adhere to God, who is Love, use His (or whatever other pronoun is appropriate) presence and name to advocate hate. It really is blasphemy, and I would say heretical. These religious homophobes who vehemently oppose homosexuality do have blood on their hands, homophobes who most likely are equally vehemently pro life. This is particularly disappointing to me as a religious person.
