The old gang of Random Thinkers used to be way cooler

Dunno about way cooler.I remember with my old usernames ( I think I must been on since 02 or 03, well before the site got wiped clean remember?)
Some posts used to be like works of art I recall , now its more "express posting".

There's maybe more of an arsey tone from some people , tantrums and the like these days.Back then maybe everyone accepted the idea was just to be chilled , open minded and the like.

Some of the people come on here only cos its got a good array of forums.
But their views /attitude are anything but what I'd call "hipforum-like"

And the attention seeking caustic ones these days.Altho I think we'd find the tiny minority *were* here but banned under their old usernames.
But I wouldnt let that spoil it.

Lucky , was just saying that if there is something bringing the forums down , I'd say its the attention seeking/ attitude edged one or two.I didnt really notice them in the past.But I understand they *were* there , but under other user names.

I think thats what I meant?( scratches head)

 

I've been here since Christmas 2002, but lately I don't have to much to post here....think I have finally started to outgrow this site

 

i outgrew this site several years ago. then i shrunk back down to its level...

 

I'm too immature for this site but the posters have nice boobs.

hmmmm.
Very interesting. I am a member of a handful of forums-and ex member of even more(yes,addiction)..and oddly I have seen similar posts at all of them.

Seems every board has old members longing for some sort perceived betterness of the past on the board...even more amusing, many seem to pine for different aspects of it.
Reminds me of old people who boast about how much better things were "back when" ,whenever things aren't perfect-having cute selective memory about how wonderful the past was and forgetting all the downers.
"yeah,gramps thing were much better when you could buy candy for a nickle, didn't you also have to walk uphill in the snow with no shoes to get it for you abusive father?"

...that or I just come along and make things suck.
So, anyway back to bringing nothing to the table.
