I bought my supplies yesterday... and started working today

 

here is another one i made iam putting it in the swap so i will be exchanging three hope thats ok

Well, here goes. I made three, because yall keep upping the ante. I like the first one best - such cool frosted beads, but the other two are made out of beads that change colors in the light. I don't know if that will show up on the pictures. I hope yall like them.

 

BTW, sensamelia, Lizard Lady, and redfraggle42 - yall's stuff is awesome. I would love to have any of that.

I'm sorry I didn't get over here sooner! I really wanted to participate in a swap. Am I too late? You said the 20th, right? I don't think you have 15 people yet, either.


I don't have access to a working digital camera right now, but I do have a beautiful peyote stitched bracelet that I made that I can contribute to the swap. It's about one and a half inches wide. It has a light blue background with many little diamonds of several pretty colors across it. It closes with 2 abalone buttons.

Things are super hectic for me right now, so I hope it's OK if I contribute one that I already made, not specifically for this swap. I am up to my freaking ears in socks that I have to knit for someone and I just can't get caught beading right now!:&

When I was a teenager my mom and I used to string up turquoise necklaces (back when it was really cheap). I still have some of those. That's why I probably gravitated to the turquoise when I made that necklace you got. I've had the light blue and bird beads in that necklace for a very long time waiting to do something with them.

And my big fear always is them coming apart.

Man, the bracelets have been fun. I have been unable to stop. I've made 5 so far and am just needing more clasps to continue on.

Wowie kazowie! This went from one bracelet, to two bracelets, to possibly three bracelets and a jewelry box?! Oy! You guys/gals are out of control! Crafting is so much fun.

Thanks to all who commented on my two bracelets. The bracelets posted so far are very keen. Sensamelia, did you make that first bracelet you posted--it looks like cloisonne (I probably spelled that wrong, but, hopefully you know what I mean anyway)? And Tarabelle, I love the green beads on the first bracelet you made, very pretty. Levi's sounds really pretty too--hope we can eventually see it!

 

as i was telling kastenfroch on the necklace swap last year i work with a lot of silver and a friend and i are going into buisness selling the stuff we make
but to be honest this was one my friend made and gave me for the swap
she has all the equiptment in her garage ive got bikes in mine lol
but ive made the other two and the jewellery box

ok--here is my contribution.


I have to get some clasps of some sort today. The yellow one has all kinds of beads--a shell, some wood, some glass, a couple of citrine chips and a couple of agates. The rainbow one is all glass. It is a bit bigger than I thought it would be, so it might be more of an ankle bracelet, depending on the size of your ankle or wrist.
Since most everyone seems to be making more than 2, I will have to see what else I can come up with.
I have been seeing some really nice things, this will be a great swap!

Very nice! I like the one with the shells and wood and stuff, but the rainbow one is so unique~! And today is the 20th, hopefully there will be some pictures today.
