I walked to Currys in Charlton yesterday. I was looking for a Comet store. When I went in, I enquired about Freesat. I was waiting for some wench to get her insurance thingy on a bloody DVD recorder. It took an age, I am surprised the insurance didn't expire.

Okey:

Freesat is most expensive but once you get it it will give you over 80 channels. Apart from Virgin 1, abc1, Ukhistory and E4. This is because Sky still have a monopoly on Freesat.

Standard box installation for those with a working satelite dish. 79.99
For those with no dish. 100 quid.
you must purchase the box for 149 pounds. So you are looking at around 250 pounds.

Freesat is one choice I am considering because I am tired of poor ariel quality. Atleast with a dish, it is constant.
