Half my hair is crinkly and I have time to lie in tomorrow but my eyes are protesting a little...

 

Woo, posting from work.. next patient doesn't arrive until 11, oh noes whatever shall I do until then?

 

Woke up at 11:45 (woops, didn't set my alarm) from a dream about outdoor showers and shower competitions at a garden centre where you could buy shower swimming costumes and shower gel really cheaply and have races with people in these grotty showers that everyone seemed to use. Oh I love dreams.

And now I have to find 40 minutes in which to write a timed essay, arghhhh.

 

Eat Squirrel veil. It is quite a delacacy in Japan. I found this out in a book today.

I found this information out today. I don't think I would actually eat squirrel veil. I doubt also that I would even try dog;thus is the main meat in Countries like Japan and China and Thailand.

 

Whichever side of meat-eating youre on, i have a lot more respect if you just take it as it is without silly petty prejudice- a carcass is a carcass, dead pig, dead cow, dead dog, whatever. And infact both cows and pigs are generally more intelligent than dogs or squirrels. Why pretend one has more worth just because youve had closer contact with it? Either their lives have enough value or they dont

Im in a shit of a mood today

 

I don't think there is such a thing as "Ethical meat". Killing meat for our own consumption is murder if you see humans as animals. I think I will just stick to chickens and cows.I have tried being vegetarian, but unfortunately it doesn't work for me.

 

My head hurts, I need to do washing and I want some wine. What else..... oh I need my BCG next week........ I hate needles!

 

I wish for summertime. I long for the hot lazy afternoons that seem to last till ten pm. I want to walk beside the river thames, looking at graceful swans taking off toward Canary Wharf. How I wish to hear to water lapping up against the side of the bank. To smell the salt in the air, to feel the wind in my hair. To sit on lush green grass, to have a portion of fish and chips, with a cold can of coke and a packet of ciggerettes in my left pocket. I wish the sky was deep blue, the white clouds floating softly by, the temperature in its highest. The sweat that falls down my face. That sun that never ends. That morning that comes so early. That day in summer when I feel like I am in heaven.
