Ooh Im all excited now, weve got a camping trip planned for sometime in the next few weeks to the Lake District Where abouts did you stay?

 

Im not really sure...my husband just sent it to me. It reminds me a lot of Brittany though. Id be willing to bet it was in France somewhere, but who knows. All I know is I will find out, and Ill try my best to live nearby one day so I can roll about in the fields and dip in the sea

maxi, i stayed at castlerigg farm campsite. just outside the town of keswick.

it was a brilliant site. keswick was in walkin distance as were some great hikes that i walked to some spectacular views. and derwent water is just down the road too, which is so beautiful.

definatley go. it's truelly breathtaking and a lot to do, especially if you enjoy walks, and there are boats for hire on derwent water and wildlife everywhere.
